Earlier this year I purchased the 2014 Blog Action Planner and it was one of the best investments I have made in my blog. It was written and designed by my blogger boo, Laura, of the nativenewyawker.com. The Blog Action Planner kept me organized and motivated throughout the entire year. When I read all of the amazing feedback in my blog group, Bloggers Like Me (BLM) I didn’t hesitate to get my 2014 Blog Action Planner.
Last year I was in a blog rut – I didn’t like my layout, my colors (or lack thereof) and I was so over the immature appearance. I knew Laura was a shark when it came to graphics and design from following both of her beautiful blogs, partyoverhair.com and thenativenewyawker.com. They are seriously two of the most delicious blogs you’ll ever lay your eyes on. So, when she announced that she was going to start critiquing blogs for free, I immediately emailed her. I was lucky enough to be Laura’s very first blog critique (read about it here). Her suggestions were so simple yet they were ideas I would have never came up with myself (most have since been incorporated into curlsandmo.com.
When Laura revealed that she was designing the 2014 Blog Action Planner late last year I was really excited. I’ve been using a planner since probably middle school so I’m no stranger to setting goals and keeping track of ideas and deadlines. However, what made the 2014 Blog Action Planner so special was that it wasn’t just a space to record ideas about posts and videos for my YouTube channel, it’s a resource. I have learned so much from reading through all of the information and tips Laura shares in the 2014 Blog Action Planner.
Laura contacted me recently about reviewing the 2015 Blog Action Planner and I was so happy. After looking through all of the different components, I have fallen in love all over again. It’s broken down into so many different parts and is chocked full of so much NEW information that I didn’t know where to start!
