How To Boycott Black Friday #RIPMikeBrown

Fri5Luvs

In light of recent events, I hope everyone had a lovely Thanksgiving. Today isn’t the typical #Fri5Luvs… After the heart wrenching Mike Brown verdict earlier this week, many Americans (myself included) are boycotting Black Friday. I think it’s important to take a stand but I also think it’s important to be peaceful when we protest and strategic in how we make an impact.

One great way is to make an economic impact. Many of us won’t be shopping at all but I think it’s still important to shop small businesses especially black and female owned. Below are a few shops and companies I love who have great Black Friday specials. Please check them and other small businesses out today and this weekend. Stay away from the large retailers and please remain peaceful.
