Friday’s 5 Loves 1.31.14

Last weekend I went to ATL and it was amazing. I loved it because I was able to catch up on a lot of blog business that had been accumulating. While there I stayed in most of the time but when I got out, here’s the things I was in love with.curlsandmo-brunch

Brunch in ATL || What’s better than brunch? Brunch with a bunch of women you’ve never “met” before but fully support and appreciate aka Blogger Boos. While in ATL this past weekend I met my girls from LA Lynns Shop, The Baby Shopaholic, Miss Foodie Fab and Variety Curls Apparel. We went to Sun in My Belly in Decatur (my favorite ATL Brunch spot) and it was delicious. Check them out!

curlsandmo-theyre realBenefit They’re Real Mascara || Since I was traveling I packed my sample of They’re Real by Benefit. I had heard a lot of great things about this mascara but because I have so many (check them out here) I hadn’t tried it. GIRL! This mascara separates, coats, lifts, curls…it is everythang. Love it. Luckily I have a full size, too. I received both when I hosted my Lash Bash (read about it here).

curlsandmo-eyelashesYouTube Video: How To Mater Applying False Eyelashes || I can’t get false eyelashes on to save my life. So when I saw this video from It’s My Raye Raye I couldn’t wait to order one of the tools she recommended – bought it on eBay right away for like $0.67. Can’t wait!

curlsandmo-miss-jessies-curly-meringueMiss Jessie’s Curly Meringue || Traveling means “my twist out must be bomb”. I often use Miss Jessie’s Curly Pudding or Curly Meringue (I’m almost out of my Aunt Jackie’s Curl La La which is amaze). I got a ton of compliments on my hair (shown above).

curlsandmo-coconut-waterCoconut Water || I always get super dehydrated during the winter but this year seems to be even worse. I often drink coconut water because I find that regular water isn’t enough.  I prefer it over sports drinks which often have added sugar. I love that it’s low in calories, naturally fat- and cholesterol free, has more potassium than four bananas, and is super hydrating.

You know what… your twist-out DOES look bomb and I’ve always been turned off by Miss Jessie’s due to the price, ingredients and the look of the products- and in that order LOL. But wow, I had no idea you were using their stuff. Aunt Jackie’s Curl la La seems to be a fave of many as well.

This week, I’m loving on Sweet Chick Chicken & Waffles in Williamsburg…*nom nom nom* Oooh wee it was good! A full rundown will be on the blog this weekend.
