It is officially prom and graduation season. Congrats to all the grads! A few months ago I shared some prom dresses that I absolutely love for my younger readers. Today I want to share some cute, easy, fun graduation and prom nails that you can achieve at home. Nails are sometimes forgotten but they’re also important so here are 3 classic manicures that can be worn with many different dresses and outfits.
I chose a simple French manicure for my graduation and prom nails. Back then I had my natural nails wrapped in acrylic so I had my manicurist create a French design that was very natural and elegant.
I’ve always loved these nude dresses and last week I was inspired to recreate this dress on my nails in a manicure.
For a while I searched high and low for the perfect nude polish and for me ZOYA Dulcinea works beautifully. Of course you can rock just a nude nail but for prom I love adding some glitter for pizzazz. After I applied two coats of Dulcinea I applied one coat of Julep Clio. This glitter polish packs just the right amount of punch with its silver, rose gold and light blue specks to jazz up graduation and prom nails. If you don’t have either of these, any nude nail polish and silver glitter will work. I love the Julie G silver glitter (shown below). It’s available at Rite Aid for only $3.99.
I think a classic red nail is always gorgeous for prom. For this manicure I used a red Sally Hansen nail polish. Click the picture for details on the color and the silver glitter from Julie G!
A French manicure is always elegant and versatile so this manicure will work no matter what you wear to prom. Click the picture for details on what products I used. This look was quick and super easy.
What’s your mani this week? What colors are you loving for spring? Please share below.
