Last month I had the pleasure of attending the Family Dollar blogger event in NYC. Check out #FamilyDollarFabNYC on social media to see all the fab pics. If you saw the picture below then you know I got tons of goodies including L.A. Colors Color Craze nail polishes.
Needless to say I was so excited to try these nail polishes. Y’all know I LOVE L.A.Colors Top Coat/Base Coat. That is my holy grail top coat when I polish my nails. But, I’ve never actually used any of the colors from L.A. Colors so I was intrigued when I saw all the colors and the girls asked me which ones I wanted. I chose two: Electra and Hottie.
For this manicure I gave Electra a try. While I really love the color, I found that the polish was a bit sheer. Because it’s more of a neon, I wasn’t surprised though. My rule of thumb with neons is to always apply an opaque white base coat before applying your neon nail polish. This polish had great wear and I got compliments from TONS of people including men (lol) so I give it two thumbs up.
With a price point of $1.49, longevity and great color payoff, I will definitely be heading to picking up a few more the next time I’m in Family Dollar. What colors have you hotties tried?
