Mani Monday | Top 5 Under $5: Summer Nail Polishes

Cheap Summer Nail Polish

I hope you enjoyed your 4th of July! Today I’m sharing some of my favorite summer nail polishes that won’t break the bank and will have your toes and fingers on point. It’s really hard to pick only five colors I love for the summer but these are a great mix because there’s some variety.

Wet n Wild megalast, Club Havana $1.99

I love orange and coral for the summer and Club Havana is the perfect orange – it’s not too loud but it definitely pops. It’s a great summer nail polish also because the formula and price point are amazing. I also really like the applicator on this nail polish because it makes applying it so easy.

Wet n Wild megalast, Candy-liscious/Rose bonbon $1.99

Just like her sister color (above) Candy-liscous is an eye-catcher, the formula is perfect and after two coats you’re done. This is a great summer nail polish because it’s a lot bolder than traditional bubble gum pink but it’s not as bright as a neon which are also popular during the summer.

Julie G, Cabana Boy/Sally Hansen, Pacific Blue $3.99

Cabana Boy is my FAVORITE summer nail polish – the blue is absolutely perfect. Every time I take it off of my toes I put it right back on and I get so many compliments. I searched for Sally Hansen Pacific Blue for over a year because I heard it was such a beautiful color. When I finally found it at ULTA I picked it up immediately. When I got home and gave it a try, I realized it was an exact dupe for Cabana Boy down to the scent! So, I gave it to my little cousin. I’ve also heard that essie Butler Please looks like both of these but at this price, I doubt I’ll ever buy Butler Please.

Julie G, Gelato in Venice $3.99

Mint is still one of the hottest pastels – several seasons later. I love Gelato in Venice because just like all other Julie G nail polishes, it’s a great price and really good quality. It’s not streaky like some pastels but I still apply two coats when I use it.

Milani, White On The Spot $4.99

Summer isn’t complete without white nail polish. It can be worn alone, as an accent nail, used to create designs or as the perfect base coat to make neon nail polishes stand out. I love White On The Spot from Milani because it’s streak-free and dries really fast – usually opaque polishes take forever. I also love that it looks completely opaque and streak-free after only one coat.

I love these summery colors especially Gelato In Venice. Mint has been really catching my eye lately and I’ve even added a few mint colored pieces to my wardrobe. I guess it’s time to add a matching polish, too! Thanks Mo!
