A while back I reviewed my Lomasi Mani Pedi System and I told y’all I didn’t exactly follow the directions. This is why. I was testing out my Julep Freedom Polymer Top Coat! While I do love a good drugstore product and my L.A. Colors Base/Top Coat has been rocking my world lately this top coat is bomb!

For best results, use every other day and seal your free edges with each application.
Tip: Make sure your nails are dry to the touch before applying Freedom.

Scent: Regular nail polish
Consistency: Regular nail polish
My Experience: Although the directions do not require you to use a UV lamp, I did use mine because I wanted to make sure that it was completely sealed and “cured” to test out the shine and durability. After applying my Wet n Wild in Candy-licious I applied one coat of Freedom Polymer Top Coat then cured it with the UV lamp and it looked so delicious I couldn’t stand it. My nails lasted without any chips or cracks for a week.
Pros: You don’t need to use a UV lamp to achieve a bright, shiny finish. I also didn’t reapply it like the website suggests. Who has time for that? During the week we want our polish to last a couple days then switch. I try to avoid reapplying top coats as much as possible.
What’s your favorite top coat? Have you tried anything from Julep? Do you love it?
